Geldards advise on acquisition of Evron Foods and EasiBake by Bama Companies, Inc.
Geldards’ corporate team has successfully advised Bama Companies, Inc. on their acquisition of Evron Foods and EasiBake Foods.
Based in Tulsa Oklahoma, Bama Companies, Inc. had humble beginnings selling the first handheld pie in 1967. Since those early days they have become an award-winning business with factories producing 2 million biscuits a day and selling baked goods for markets all over the world.
Evron and EasiBake Foods is an independent modern bakery which specialises in high volume production with bakeries in Craigavon, Northern Ireland and Pontypool in South Wales.
The cultural fit between the two companies was a driving force in the acquisition, both being privately-held family enterprises. The expanded company will have a much greater geographical synergy and product fit across Northern Ireland, Wales, Poland, United States and China.
The deal was by led by the Geldards’ corporate team. Partners Peter Seary and Andrew Evans dealt with all aspects of the transaction in advising Bama Companies, Inc. supported by Senior Associate Stuart Walters, Solicitor Molly Vandervell and Senior Associate Maz Dannourah.
