Geldards Expands Cardiff Commercial Team With New Partner
Justin Harrington has joined the leading law firm’s Cardiff office as a partner in the Commercial and Technology Law team, having previously been Partner at Blake Morgan LLP..
Justin is a specialist technology lawyer and will boost the technology sector team who act for a range of organisations in the region and nationally.
He advises both customers and suppliers on all aspects of technology and telecoms procurement and supply with particular experience in fintech, public sector IT and utilities. His expertise covers IT and business process outsourcing, systems integration and development arrangements, cloud contracts and data protection, currently a very important area ahead of the GDPR changes in May 2018.
Justin has worked for many recognised names including FTSE 100 companies, the Welsh Government, Home Office and the BBC. He has also been seconded to Accenture and the NHS.
Justin joins following a very busy and successful year for the team. Geldards was ranked a tier one law firm for corporate and commercial law in Wales in the 2017 Legal 500 rankings. The team was praised for its ‘highly professional and skilled service’ to private, public and third sector clients from an array of industry sectors.
