Gareth is a member of the planning and environment team specialising in planning, environmental, highways and compulsory purchase law. He regularly acts for local authorities, landowners and developers drafting and negotiating complex section 106 planning obligations and has been heavily involved in the negotiation of highway works and adoption agreements, including managing multiple agreements across strategic housing sites for developer clients and acting on wide portfolios of agreements for local highway authorities.
Gareth advises on all aspects of planning and highways law, with particular experience in community infrastructure levy, neighbourhood planning, public rights of way and enforcement. He has been involved in all stages of the planning process, including planning appeals and judicial review claims in the High Court.
